Capsule Resume

Lisanne Aerts is a PhD marine ecologist based in Alaska. Her main background is benthic, invertebrate and coral reef ecology but over the past 16 years she has gained additional working experience as a consultant in other environmental fields for various clients in different countries. In most recent years Lisanne was working on Sakhalin Island in Russia for the oil and gas industry managing and scoping whale research, developing and implementing acoustic monitoring and mitigation plans, marine mammal protection plans and MMO programs with intensive liaison with various stake- and shareholders. Currently, she continues to work on marine mammal issues related to the oil and gas industry from Alaska.
