Capsule Resume

Susan is LGL Limited’s Halifax presence, where she has been operating a branch office of the company since 2003. She has worked for LGL as a consulting marine biologist since 1998. She has been involved in the writing of several environmental assessments for oil exploration and seismic acquisition and was a marine mammal observer aboard a high-speed ferry in the Bay of Fundy for five summers. Prior to joining LGL, Susan was involved in studies of sperm whales, North Atlantic right whales, and northern bottlenose whales. Susan has published seven first-author, peer-reviewed publications and written numerous reports. She has a great deal of field experience observing marine mammals from both shipboard and aerial platforms. In addition to her field work and writing abilities, Susan has a great deal of experience analyzing vast amounts of data using various software.
