Capsule Resume
Steve began working for LGL in 2005 as part of a team studying beluga whale activity in the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet outside Anchorage, Alaska. He has spent several seasons, and continues to work on restoration and long-term monitoring of disturbed sites involving oil and gas activities throughout Alaska. Part of his work includes the collection and inventory of native seed sources as a means to encourage natural community succession. Steve’s M.Sc. work involved exploratory alternatives to measuring plant canopy cover through the use of digital imagery and computer analysis.
