Capsule Resume

Brian has 22 years of experience working with landowners and natural resource managers helping them find innovative approaches to manage wildlife habitat in ways that are compatible with other income and ownership objectives in woodland, agricultural, grassland, and wetland systems. For the past l1 years, he has also developed successful outreach, continuing education, and management programs on coastal environmental issues including aquatic invasive species, water quality, water quantity management and planning, contaminant remediation, Great Lakes ecosystem management, land use planning, aquaculture, and open space planning at county and regional scales.

Brian has built upon his ecological background and lifetime of experience in helping clients apply new discoveries to solve contemporary problems by developing his expertise in the natural resource social sciences. He helps resource managers and clients identify priority needs, then engages them in the process of developing solutions that address those needs. He is recognized for his expertise in program planning and designing engagement programs that achieve impact. Brian designs and conducts training and continuing education programs for professionals and designs research to evaluate program and project impacts.
