Craig began working for LGL as a seasonal employee from 2001 through 2003. He divided his efforts between avian studies of tundra-nesting bird communities and near-shore fish monitoring in Prudhoe Bay. Craig joined the full time LGL staff in 2006 after completing his master's degree and teaching advanced biology to high school students. His more recent focus has been working with various Arctic fisheries monitoring programs including an assessment of a native subsistence fishery on the Colville River. Additionally, he has been involved with monitoring of the Howe Island lesser snow goose (Chen caerulescens caerulescens) colony, aerial surveys, LGL's marine mammal observer program, and various environmental impact assessments. |
