Audrey has over 40 years of experience in the development of transportation facilities with 20 of those years as an environmental planner. Audrey has been involved in over 100 Individual and Class Environmental Assessment studies, in addition to numerous guideline, manuals, and policy development projects. She has a thorough understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal environmental regulatory systems and agencies.
Audrey as an environmental planner has participated in multi-disciplinary project teams, delivering engineering and environmental assignments by being responsible for compiling environmental information, interpreting significance, assessing impacts, developing/evaluating alternatives, developing mitigation/compensation measures, and preparing/editing/approving formal environmental documentation to ensure timely regulatory approvals for the planning, design, construction, operation, and monitoring of transportation facilities.
Audrey served as the Lead Environmental Planner for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation on the Detroit River International Crossing project. This Canadian and U.S. Ontario-Michigan government international transportation improvement project required approvals under Ontario Environmental Assessment Act (OEAA), Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
