Capsule Resume
Janean has conducted biological research for both private and public-sector clients in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Washington State. This work has involved habitat restoration and research in, Athabasca oil sands, peat-mined bog, gravel/aggregate quarry, tall-grass prairie, old-growth forest, riparian, and reservoir habitats. She has also been involved with multi-taxa surveys and population studies of terrestrial arthropods, reptiles, amphibians, fish, small mammals, bats, ungulates and plants. She is especially interested in practical applications of conservation biology and community and population ecology. Presently, Janean is working on inventory and monitoring projects on behalf of BC Hydro and the Cumulative Environmental Management Association (CEMA). |
