Capsule Resume
Jeremy developed a passion for birds at an early age and has been involved in the B.C. birdwatching scene for more than 20 years. During this time, his interests have expanded into several other taxonomic groups, including plants, butterflies, dragonflies, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and terrestrial molluscs. Jeremy’s affinity to wildlife led him to pursue a diploma in Environmental Technology from Camosun College, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Northern British Columbia.
With LGL, Jeremy has had the opportunity to put his broad palette to use in several projects. This experience includes: small mammal trapping and vegetation sampling in western Washington, terrestrial mollusc surveys in Oregon, acting as a marine mammal observer aboard a vessel in the Chukchi Sea, aerial surveys for Bowhead Whales in the western Beaufort Sea, multi-taxa surveys on several Department of National Defense lands in B.C., and assisting with several projects monitoring the impacts to wildlife by reservoir operations. |
