Liz Speller has over seventeen years of experience as an environmental planner. She has been involved in class environmental assessments for provincial and municipal transportation projects, as well as transit projects. She has managed projects, been involved in environmental planning and design, conducted and coordinated natural and social sciences inventories, organized and participated in public and external agency consultation including facilitation, conducted impact assessment, developed mitigation and monitoring measures, prepared environmental documentation, and secured technical environmental approvals, permits and authorizations. Prior to joining LGL, Liz worked as a watershed resource planner at the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and was involved in conservation land planning, waterfront planning, watershed strategy development, and public consultation.
