Capsule Resume

Krysia Tuttle has pursued an interest in wildlife and natural history since a very early age, as a wilderness guide, naturalist, and wildlife biologist in both British Columbia and Alberta. She is a trained wildlife biologist with a M.Sc. in Biology (specializing in Herpetology), Registered Professional Biologist designation, and a strong background in both fieldwork and technical writing. Her scientific and technical documents include four published articles in peer-reviewed journals, numerous technical reports, and ecological monitoring plans.

Since joining LGL, Krysia has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of wildlife projects ranging from amphibian and reptile surveys, small mammal trapping and monitoring, and other fish and wildlife studies. Field experience includes long term amphibian and reptile studies (including radio‑telemetry), Species at Risk inventories, ecosystem assessments, strategic program reviews and wildlife species surveys across BC, Alberta, and NWT for a range of agencies. She enjoys working with teams of people and is a good communicator with strong written, oral, and analytical skills. She is very passionate about the natural world and the conservation of its inhabitants and is dedicated in her research work towards that goal.
