Capsule Resume

Kaitlyn Manishin joined LGL in 2022 after working in the U.S. public sector for Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the National Park Service. With those agencies, she specialized in monitoring salmon escapement in rural and remote settings using fixed picket and floating weirs, DIDSON and ARIS sonar, and underwater video systems. Kaitlyn has a penchant for tackling and solving quantitative problems. Her statistical analyses have included estimating probability of maturation in juvenile steelhead, simulating Chinook Salmon life history with varying mortality, and using Bayesian methods to model Salmon Shark growth.
